Dixie Skidding Tong

A Skidding Tong is a traditional logging tool specially shaped to grab and hold poles and logs for skidding and dragging operations. Dixie Industries Skidding Tongs are upset forged from round steel to position additional steel at critical strees areas. Points are fine ground to assure long lasting sharpness. Tong sizes 3/4 and 1 inch are supported by special Tong Shut. Tong size 1-1/4 uses Screw Pin Anchor Shackles. 3/8 Swivel Grab Hook in sizes 3/4 and 1 inch and 1/2 Forged Swivel Grab in size 1-1/4.

Available in 4 sizes: 16, 21, 24 & 36in.
